The Road to IFFW 2027: Three Cities, One Conversation
Before the main event comes to Singapore next June, IFFW is taking the conversation on the road. The City Briefs series brings together future fuels decision-makers in three of the world's most consequential energy markets, each session designed for deal-making and market intelligence rather than broad-brush discussions.
The series will open in Singapore on 8 September 2026 at The Masons Table. As the region's leading bunkering hub and the home market for IFFW itself, Singapore is the natural starting point, drawing a room of senior figures from across aviation, maritime, and hard-to-abate land transport. Speakers include Gloyta Nathalang of Bangchak Group, David Doherty from BloombergNEF, Michael Ma from American Bureau of Shipping, Steven Kurtbatıosmaz of Neste, Lawrence Lee from BASF, Kent Yee of the U.S. Grains & Bioproducts Council, Jimmy Matheusen from Bureau Veritas, Aohan Qin of China Classification Society, Armand Dumora from etasca, Ze Lynn Tan of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, Han Wee Chua from Shell, Ananda Setiyo Ivansanto of PT Awtna Sinergi International, Sylvia Low from 1PointFive, Alastair Croall of etasca, and Peter Godfrey, Founder and CEO of CarbonSync Technologies.
London follows on 19 October at Surveyors House in Westminster. The speaker line-up reflects the depth of the European market: LanzaTech, Topsoe, SCOR, S&P Global Energy, IBIA, and AVISAF are all confirmed. Westminster puts the session squarely in the corridor where policy, finance, and industry converge, and the agenda is built accordingly.
The series closes in Houston on 3 November at the Westin Downtown. The confirmed speakers include Gevo, Molecule Group, Velocys, EcoEngineers, and Pivot Methanol, a line-up that spans production technology, feedstocks, and carbon accounting. Houston's position as the global centre of energy capital and engineering talent makes it the right place to end the pre-conference arc.
Across the three stops, the City Briefs are projected to convene more than 350 attendees and 40 speakers. Each event is invitation-only and complimentary by application, keeping the room commercially focused. IFFW 2027 opens at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, on 14 June 2027.
